Place Mosquito Bits in ponds or any standing water and it's active ingredient, Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies israaelenses (BTI) kills mosquito and black fly larvae for 30 days or more. This bacteria will not hurt pets, birds, fish or wildlife. Mosquito Bits can be used in bird baths, ponds, flower pots or anywhere that water accumulates.
