Comments: have had nothing but problems the unit freezes solid in the ice and fills with water had to chip a hole in the ice everyday not good!

Comments: This the 1st season using the deicer and its been working great. We live in Cincinnati Ohio where the temperatures were 3-5 degrees F for over a week straight and the diameter was ice free. Would highly recommend this product.

Comments: This deicer is great!! This was my first year for the pond. I was very worried the fish would not survive the winter. I was always checking the deicer everynight for fear it would not be working! It's has been great even on the coldest nights. Very happy with this product!

Comments: The de-icer works very well to create an aeration hole on-demand in a large pond, even when iced under. Just the solar radiation absorbed by the unit will melt the ice during warmer periods.

Comments: It did the job. Although two deicers were recommended for my pond size, one kept a hole melted in temperatures as low as twenty below zero.

Comments: My only problem is it deices my whole pond (5 ft x 4 ft) instead of just one spot, so that makes me think it must be running continuosly and not shut off. Other than that, it works great!

Comments: Excellent product. Works in the coldest weather. I had previously tried a 120 watt heater and it was a joke. The hole in the middle froze solid.

Comments: The Pond de-icer works great at keeping my koi pond thawed through out the winter. It does, however need to be cleaned periodically to keep the filamantous algae at bay.
