Purpose and Benefits:
Aquatic Plant Food is a ready-to-use liquid plant food specially formulated for aquatic plants such as water lilies, water hyacinth, and water lettuce. To produce flowers and develop beautiful foliage, aquatic plants need a continuous supply of nutrients. Aquatic Plant Food contains potassium and iron for lush foliage and colorful blooms all season long.
Aquatic plants obtain nutrients through their roots and absorption through submerged leaves. Nutrients are absorbed by the roots and leaves and translocated to the rest of the plant. Aquatic Plant Food is designed to be added to the pond water. The nutrients will be absorbed by all aquatic plants insuring that your pond plants keep blooming all season long.
Directions for Use:
1. Start feeding in the spring when the water temperature reaches 50F (10C). Feed plants once a week. Stop using Aquatic Plant Food when the water temperature drops below 60F (15C) in the fall.
Add one teaspoonful (5 ml) of Aquatic Plant Food for each 100 U.S. Gallons (378 L) of water. For larger doses: use the cap (it's marked for measuring), add 60 ml weekly, for each 120 U.S. Gallons (454 L)
Compatibility:
Aquatic Plant Food can be used in ponds and water gardens containing fish and plants. Aquatic Plant Food can be used along with Aquatic Plant Food Tablets.
