Savio Skimmerfilters can be used as the total filtration solution for ponds up to 1,000 gallons. This all in one approach reduces plumbing and eliminates the need for extra equipment.
Weir door & matching faceplate are not included. Select from 3 sizes & order weir door/faceplate below. This skimmer will not work without a weir door & faceplate.

imply that these pumps would be appropriate pumps for all applications,
you also need to ensure that the flow rates fit the constraints of the
skimmer after factoring in head loss (Vertical distance you raise the

Comments: Overall, I love my Savio skimmer and water fall units. A couple of quirks that I wish I had been aware of the first time I cleaned it out. It works better to not fully remove the basket, just raise it scoop it out with your hand. We had a fish get into the base unit when we removed the basket, and it was a bit of a challenge to capture it (lots of nooks and crannies for hiding, don't you know!). Also, when the pump cover needs to be cleaned off, it is wise to wait a few minutes to let the water settle before you start taking everything apart. Mostly, though, the system is awesome. Within a couple of weeks of installation, we have beautiful, clear water.
