Fountec is safe for birds, plants, and animals but not for fish. (Please note: the warning on the container about the product being hazardous to domestic animals is referring to the concentrate. I've used this product for: over 2 years
Comments: We use this is our Italian fountain and it works great. This is one of the few products that really works and is safe for our pets. We use it along with Protec and we use them as described on the label. If you keep up with the maintenance, it really prevents the algae and keeps the harmful bacteria from getting our pets sick.
