ProForm-LA is the safest and most effective treatment for the control of diseases of pond fish caused by Lice and Anchor Worms. It is just as safe to use on pond fish as Dimilin, yet it is much safer for human contact. It will not harm reptiles (turtles), amphibians (frogs) and mollusks (snails).
Three treatments, one week apart are recommended. May be used in any water temperature.
Directions for use: To treat lice and anchor worm (cyromazine-susceptible) diseases of ornamental pond fishes add one quart (32 fl oz.) per 10,000 gallons of pond water. For smaller volumes of pond water use 1 fl oz. per 312.5 gallons; 1 teaspoonful per 52 gallons.
This 16 fl oz. bottle treats 5,000 gallons of pond water.
Before starting treatment a large partial water change, up to 90%, is recommended. This refreshes the water with dissolved oxygen, removes pollutants and nutrients for disease-causing organisms, and will reduce the population of water-borne pathogens.
Three treatments, one week apart, should be made. Water changes before each treatment are recommended.
Contraindications: ProForm-LA is safe for use on all ornamental pond fishes, reptiles (e.g. turtles) amphibians (e.g. frogs) and mollusks (e.g. snails). It must not be used where crayfishes or other crustaceans are being cultured. Not for use as an economic poison. Not for human, veterinary or food fish use.
